The Toy Library has had its roof replaced free of charge by local company J Wright Roofing.

Toy Library Service Director Steve Parkinson said “our building on the corner of Bulwell Hall Park was built in 1856 and the roof in particular has needed attention for some time. We are a charity with limited resources that we use to support children and families. We haven’t been able to afford more than essential repairs to the roof to keep the rain out. When Jason Wright contacted me in December offering to replace the entire roof free of charge it was the best Christmas present we could have hoped for".

The team worked really hard and really quickly needing nothing from us but cups of tea and coffee and did a great job!

It's made a real difference and will help so much with our work with and for local children and families.

Thank you to everyone involved!
