We offer a range of opportunities for volunteers and anyone looking for relevant work experience. For example, you could help out at one of our play sessions for little ones, or work alongside older children after school or during the holidays. You could even get involved with our outdoor/nature activities for children and young people, held at local parks and woods in the Bulwell area.
All our volunteers are given support and training, so it’s a good way to boost your career. In fact, several of our staff began as volunteers. Plus of course, volunteering with children is fun, rewarding and there’s never a dull moment.
Please note: you don’t necessarily need experience but you will need a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children and young people, which we can arrange and pay for. (Also known as a police check).
