Work In Early Years? We Can Help Little Ones Get Closer To Nature
We’ve teamed up with Nottingham City Council’s Early Years team and e-learning centres to give little ones the chance to get closer to nature and learn about the great outdoors – by loaning specialist equipment to early years practitioners working in nurseries, playgroups and other community settings.
The project is in association with world-renowned wildlife cameraman, TV presenter and author Simon King OBE and the Wildlife Whisperer website, an online community connecting people from all over the world who share a passion for watching, photographing and filming wildlife and the natural world.
You’re welcome to borrow equipment from us as a way of helping children become interested in their local environment.
The equipment on offer includes a number of nestbox and feeder camera systems, motion-activated, battery-powered cameras and inspection cameras for observing mini-beasts. These cameras can be streamed through the web via Nottingham e-learning centres and may also be included on the Wildlife Whisperer website, sharing wildlife in the city with other nature-lovers around the world.
To find out more or to arrange to borrow the resources please call us on 0115 975 3898 or email steve@toy-library.co.uk or download our flyer
