Crabtree Play

We run regular play sessions on Crabtree Farm estate every week so that children aged 5-13 years have somewhere to meet their friends and choose play activities that suit them.

The sessions run after school and in the holidays at Crabtree Farm Community Centre, Steadfold Close, Bulwell, Nottingham, NG6 8AX

During the school term they are on:

Mondays: 3.30pm – 5.30pm (for children aged 9-13 years)

Tuesdays: 3.30pm – 5.30pm (for children aged 5-13 years)

Thursdays: 3.30pm – 5.30pm (for children aged 5-13 year)

During School holidays they are on:

Mondays: 2.00pm – 4.00pm (for children aged 5-13 years)

Tuesdays: 2.00pm – 4.00pm (for children aged 5-13 years)

Thursdays: 2.00pm – 4.00pm (for children aged 5-13 year)

Girls Group

We run a group just for girls aged 9-13 years together with Bulwell Children’s Centre on Friday evenings, 3.30pm – 5.30pm, during term time. This runs at the Children’s Centre, Steadfold Close, Crabtree Farm Estate.

Support for Disabled children

We have a specialist worker to work with disabled children or those with additional needs so that they can join in our play sessions alongside their friends.

Pulley Park

As part of a project funded by the Big Lottery we run this new scheme after hearing children’s complaints that they couldn’t play on this local park through fear of bullying. By having Playworkers on the park on Saturdays, after school and school holidays, children are encouraged to come out and play. The emphasis is on natural, adventurous and environmental play activities as well as allowing children to learn about risk taking safely and build their confidence. This helps children to mix with others and develop their own sense of the community.

We aim this at children aged 5-13. Whilst it is a public park we do ask that children we work with take home a membership form to by filled in by parents so that we have some details should we need them.

Pulley Park is on the corner of Hoewood Road and Sellers Wood Road in Bulwell (behind Aldi) and our playworkers are there on:

Wednesdays: 4.00pm– 6.00pm

Fridays: 4.00pm– 6.00pm

Saturdays: 11.00am – 1.00pm

2.00pm – 4.00pm

School Holidays:

Wednesdays: 11.00am – 1.00pm
