Volunteers and training
Volunteers play a crucial role in Bulwell Community Toy Library's success. There are three ways most people volunteer with us:
•Running play sessions
•Toy-care and administration
•As a Committee member
Most of our volunteers are parents that have used the toy library. We also have volunteers who are young people from schools, the virtual pupil referral unit. Many volunteers go on to do training in NVQs II or III in childcare related topics. Over the years midwives, play workers and childcare professionals have started their careers volunteering with the Toy Library.
