What we do
Bulwell Toy Library is a local charity improving the life-chances of young children in some of the most deprived neighbourhoods in Nottingham.
Young children from families with complex lives are given opportunities to develop social, concentration and communication skills through structured play sessions at home and in local community settings. Parents build up their confidence and skills as they are made to feel part of the Toy Library 'family of families' where there is always a warm welcome and a listening ear. Our staff, volunteers and training establish strong relationships with families and show parents how to get the services they need for their children.
Bulwell Toy Library is a cost-effective way of building up the skills and confidence of parents in areas of social need and helps make 'every child matters' a reality on the ground.
