What we do

Founded in 1979, Bulwell Community Toy Library is a Nottingham charity making the lives of local families happier and more fulfilled. We support hundreds of parents, helping them give their children the best possible start in life.

Young children are given a chance to develop social and language skills at play and toy-lending sessions in local community centres. Parents are made to feel part of the Toy Library 'family of families' where there is always a warm welcome and a listening ear. Staff, volunteers and trainees help parents to get the services they need for their children.

We also provide after school and holiday play sessions for children age 5-13d years in the Crabtree Farm estate area.

Because Bulwell Community Toy Library is from the community for the community by the community, it is a cheap way of supporting hundreds of families and helping ensure every child matters in our patch.
